If I were the Prez
Even just for a day
I’d roll out a health care plan for all
So that those in need would be okay
Don’t have to worry
‘Bout losing it all
I’d make healthy foods cheap at last
And hunger a thing of the past ‘cause
That’s the way it should be
If I were the Prez
I think I could understand
How it feels to be different
I swear I’d stop intolerance
I’d listen to them
When they say that they’re scared
Of being pulled over and shot
‘Or being told to act how they’re not
And anyone different gets destroyed

I would make our schools free
Give everyone a real chance
To be whatever they wanted to be
I’d put knowledge first
And make new rules as I go

We should all have a real home

I think it would be okay
To make jobs for everyone
And raise the low minimum wage
I’d change the taxes
We all know are unfair
The greedy just take more and more
We get less than ever before
And working people all get destroyed
All the bribes that they take make it hard to come back
It’s been a big mistake
Seeing our climate like that
We now know what we need to do
Vote them out
But you are the Prez
And thugs are your friends
You only value the worst
We’re all wishing you were a better man
You don’t listen to facts
You don’t care who you hurt
Those thousands of lies are surreal
Blaming others is how you deal
And everything now could be destroyed
